30th November 2007 2007
Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I am going to carry on with tidying the loft
this weekend. I had a thought that maybe if I clean it and board it I could
then have a Train set!
Boy's and their toys.
Yesterday I was
talking about how the change over of a season can cause problems with systems
and I mentioned
Fancy
Fillies as one of the systems that seemed to suffer.
I actually you
got quite a few emails agreeing with me over this and then I received this
email.
"I bought the Fancy Fillies system in September after reading
your comments etc.
September was a great month october was not so good
and neither is Nov.
However, having said that, I started with a bank of
£250 for the system and I now have £596 in the same bank so all in
all, despite some losing days I am still very pleased with your original
reccomendation.
I go outside the system for lower priced favourite lays
sometimes, so some I win which is good, and of course some of the lower priced
favourites I lose, but no problem. "
This is a classic example of
what I am always trying to promote through this news letter and that is to see
if there is a better way than what you are being told.
There is nothing
wrong with following a system but you have to also experiment to see if you can
find something that works better. I am not sure how succesfull the reader above
will be over time but he has almost doubled his bank by making a slight
alteration to a system which everyone else has found difficult to
follow.
It's all about testing. http://www.laybetting.com/go_fancy_fillies.htm -------------------------- From
Nat at TSF
e-Zine
My trading has been some what limited recently thanks largely
to Christmas fayre's and School plays being on the horizon! I did however have
a dabble last night in the Spurs v AaB match last night. I layed the draw just
after it went 1-2 at 3.6 intending to scalp a little but thanks to Spurs
equalising almost immediately 10 mins into the second half I managed to obtain
a nice profit when backing back at 4.2 soon after!
I have been looking
at some of the older strategies that I have in my locker recently and it's
something I would advise you to do as well quite often they come full circle
and strategies that have once been profitable to follow, but have lost their
edge when they have become 'popular' can on occasions become profitable again
once the popularity bandwagon has moved on.
Subscribers to the
TSF e-zine will see
some of those profitable angles when the strategy workshops are up and running
in December. I (and others) will be providing step by step guides to all sorts
of different trading systems and strategies, along with hints and tips on how
best to implement them!
Lastly I suggest you pay close attention to the
Sri Lanka v England Test Match (remember England = over reactions). Especially
just before and just after session breaks, when a new balls due, a big player
comes into bat or bowl. Something else that quite often gets un-noticed is that
batsmen are vulnerable just after they reach their century or half centuries. A
quick back bet of the bowling side or a lay of the batting side can often bring
results. But do tread with caution as it very much depends on the match
position at the time and don't neglect that draw market!
Until next
time, 'Keep it Green' Nat http://www.tsf-ezine.co.uk/ -------------------------- A
reader named Gary. These are for laying, I do suggest people only do this on
paper for the moment, since it is still in testing. However results have been
very positive so far, it has had 1 or 2 bad days, but has recovered them quite
quickly:
Laying: 11.19 Hall Green BAGS Natural Jo 3 12.04 Hall
Green BAGS Scooterwood 2 12.47 Hall Green BAGS Mrs Burns 2 20.13
Sheffield BAGS Logandyke Major 3 21.33 Sheffield BAGS Carrigeen Spring 5
There is no staking involved just level stakes. I will get Gary to
send me all his results so far so that we can put them in to a web
page.
-----------------------------
I hope you have a good
weekend.
