Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I don't know what I am going to do this weekend but it
will not involve betting (although
Ultratrader is running constantly now) but it will probably
mean some for of manual labour. Actually because I sit down most of the day it
is nice to get in the Garden.
I know I keep going on about
Ultratrader (you know me by now) but I just love it. I
was running a scenario for a couple of days which wasn't' doing to bad, but I
just added one more rule and it seems to be doing very well now.
I
think Teik is adding HiLo to the next version as well, so that will be very
interesting.
I have noticed that the amount of people using
Ultratrader this week has dropped slightly. I am amazed at
that because if you think just a couple of days of playing around with ideas is
going to be enough. I am afraid it isn't that easy.
To make money
takes effort and it is no different for
Ultratrader. But the beauty is you can just leave it running
an make the adjustments.
Well we got hurt again yesterday on the
Greyhound Selection, nearly got it back then had another loser. So I may be a
little bit more brave today and up the stakes a little more. We will know next
week if was a good idea or not.
All I can say is I am pleased I kept
testing this system.

will depend on your present knowledge and your circumstances.

reason I mentioned our forum chat was that they have bought out a new soccer
system, that I am going to get my hands on. Many of you know I am not a great
football fan but I still like looking at trading methods.

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay
System started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I
have decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I
think I have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I
suspect there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what
that will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort
to record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks
(*) are from the original and tighter system, I am not using these
now.
Udate. I am now stopping at the first winner and changing my
stop loss to £16.00 although I think this may be to high and we should
also stop at the first loser and call it a day. Only time will tell.

could do this how you want but we suggest you put slightly more on the lay to
cover any loses on the back.
