Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I was a bit lazy again and
didn't get much done at all, still the dogs had some nice long walks.
I
did manage to get the latest version of the Grey Horse bot out to everyone by
home time on Friday, so I was pleased about that. Now we are starting work on
the next list of request for options and improvements.
I also but a beta
version of the new Football bot we have been working on in the Grey Horse
subscribers forum.
There are quite a few football systems available and
many of them talk about betting on the score draw on matches that have inplay
betting and we have developed a bot that will be able to cope with some of the
scenario's available and make this type of trading automatic.
You can
get the Footy bot to back or lay the draw based on your odds criteria. The bot
can be set to start betting "X" amount of minutes inplay. So you may not want
to start betting until 75 minutes into the match. We even have a stop loss
trade out in case things go wrong.
I had some good trades last week so I
am looking forward to trying it some more this week.
I will admit that I
still don't understand much about football and I am getting the selections to
use with the bot from the
forum, where ROBK01 and harley and taking the time to post
matches with goals, which is what we are looking for.
I have been going
over Gordon's idea of stopping at the first (*) loser on the Greyhound
Selections (8) and after talking with him although we still agree there is
profit we think it will be less than he first thought. It is not his fault, I
didn't put the dates of the selections down on the (*)
results
sheet, making it difficult for him to tell the splits. Anyway there would
have still been £42.60 profit which is still not that bad.
I have
also been talking to Roy (roys staking plans) and I have been looking at some results
of a new staking plans he has been testing and I have to admit that his results
are pretty amazing.
I will let you know more in the next couple of weeks
but I will tell you he managed to turn quite a profitable lay service that I
already promote into 3 times more profit using this new idea.
I am going
to try it on a couple of other results from services I use to see what happens,
but I am confident this is going to make a big difference.

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay System
started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are
from the original and tighter system, I am not using these now.

all the results since the 14th (when I introduced the latest selection method)
here. I am now using what I call the "rule of 3", this means
we go for 3 wins and use a 3 race scratch back to get back any
losses.

idea here is to Stop at the first winner (or loser in this case as we are
laying).
