Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I will admit I was a little
lazier than I intended to be over the weekend, but I did do some work around
the house. I will have to work harder in the evenings this week though as I
intend to have a full weekend off next weekend.
I haven't mentioned my forum for
quite a while which maybe why it is a little quieter than normal. If you want
to take a look at some systems that are being tested or ask for some advice
then it is worth dropping in and having a look.

Although it is probably not the
most exciting forum around there are some good members who constantly post
information that is really helpful.
I know we have some strict rules
about what can be posted but most of these are to protect users from people who
just want to draw people to their sites. The rules have also prevented the
forum ending up as just a place to have a go at other people.
I have always wanted the forum
to be a place where people can discuss and test ideas and I don't even mind
people using the forum to show people their selections that they intend to
sell, as long as they do this for at least two months before mentioning their
site.

The "Good
to lay" guest selection has been doing well, I think we have only had 1 or
maybe 2 losers since we started. I know they can be a little high sometimes but
the thing to do is set your limit or as I always do with selections like these,
lay to liability.
This means I will choose the maximum amount I am
prepared to lose on each selection. So if I have a bank of £200 then this
could be %10 or £20. So if the odds are 9.00 on betfair my calculation
is.
20 / (9-1) = £2.50 stake.
This just gives you the
opportunity to take on higher odd lays while still keeping your liability under
control.
Guest Selection ("Good to
Lay" ) started 27/08/2008
There is only one rule: If the NR
reduction factor is 10% or more (check the "Rules" tab to the left of the
market) on the market then it is a "No bet". Because of this, it is obviously
better to bet nearer the off.
