Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I spent most of the weekend putting up a greenhouse, now does this
show I am getting older and starting to settle into my allotment
phase?
Me! I doubt it, we just want to have some fresh food on the table for
a change, although it will be amazing if I manage that in my first
year of trying to turn my fingers green.
We are just about at the end of Feburary and I suppose we should now
be starting to think ahead to the return of the flat season.
Time to start digging out the results of last years flat systems and
see if we can make any improvements for this year, I for one will
start having a good look through the V4 flat results, I am also looking
forward to running my 2yo Maiden lay System. It was actually converted
from the older V3 flat system and seemed to do quite well, considering
the prices these favourites go off at.
Another 3 good wins on the New Lay (test) System on Friday but I am sorry
to report that it had it's first loser on Saturday.
Well to be trueful it didn't because evidently the race broke a
"number of runners rule" when a NR meant there were only 5 runners in
the race, but I didn't find out until the next day (putting up the
greenhouse remember).
It's a bit of a shame as it blots it's 100% record, but it wasn't a
disaster at 9/1 but I still have to show it in the results.
It is still only 1 loss out of 24 selections I have posted so far.
Considering the horse that one was the only horse that finished it was
a strange result!
I am sorry but I won't be getting todays selections until about
12.30 pm so if you want them please check the forum around 1pm.
