Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Well I didn't get much decorating done last
weekend so I will try again this weekend.
I had an email from a reader
yesterday who managed to get the Millionaire Daily Nap slightly earlier because
he went to the on-line version that is sometimes live before you would get the
email, this can sometimes only be by minutes.
Anyway I will let him
explain what happened.

was regularly going to your website "my-daily-tip-new.htm" to see if I can get today's ramblings
before it reaches you XXXX email subscribers. The idea was that I get your
selection, go to betfair and place a back bet before the crowds storm in. After
showing the stats yesterday, I was sure that everybody was going to put money
on the selection.
Well I think I did get in before the crowds because
the price was hanging between 2.38 and 2.42. The suddenly the entire lay side
of the screen lost it's values, meaning the only money available was on the
back side. After a couple of refresh screens the values slowly started
returning with odds of 1.01 and 1.02. When I looked at the stats of "Milan Deux
Mille" it showed that $11000 were matched at odds of 2.10 through to 2.19. This
all happened in about 1 second.
The back odds never returned to the
2.3's and is currently still running at 2.2. There is currently $23902 matched
and of this $18494 belongs to "Milan Deux Mille" .... I think you should start
tapping yourself on the shoulder because you have a MAJOR influence on the
market......!!! ""
This email does go out to quite a few thousand
readers so I suppose it is possible that some of the selections could have a
small influence on the market, but I am not so sure, it could have been someone
else, sending out the same selection.
What does interest me though is
that this is meant to be a "test tip" but if what happened was a result of my
email then many of you are not taking much notice of my advice!
Well
there is nothing much I can do about that, but as you are aware I do not
normally bet on the weekends, but I have arranged a way my friend can do the
honors.

Betfair had an API problem yesterday so you may have had some
strange things happening with the bot, especially P/L not showing up. It seems
fine now and the Footy Bot I have been testing in the evenings is about ready
to go beta in the Grey Horse members part of the forum.

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay System
started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are
from the original and tighter system, I am not using these now.
You can see
all the results since the 14th (when I introduced the latest selection method)
here. I am now using what I call the "rule of 3", this means
we go for 3 wins and use a 3 race scratch back to get back any
losses.

and the lay price must be between 2.1 and 3.9, at this time to qualify. The
idea here is to Stop at the first winner (or loser in this case as we are
laying).
