Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
The (Best Lay bet of the Day) won again yesterday, but I felt a bit
bad about it, because I didn't put my main nap in here, I left that
for my members, but they got their first loss after a winning run
of 21 and you didn't!
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I give you a bad selection, I just
try to keep a variety of my Lay Betting Selections so you can see
how good they are.

I was going to test a system on 3/1 favourites at the exchanges but
I haven't had a lot of time to watch the racing, over the last few
days because I am working on a new project.
My theory is that if you stick to one set of odds as closely as you
can, you may get more winners or losers than you would if you were
laying or backing different horses at different odds. I hope this
doesn't sound silly, but odds are worked out on a horses chance of
winning a race, not on how many horse have run at 3/1 and won or
lost..I think!
Anyway my point is if you have 4 races and 4 favourites at 3/1 you
would expect to lose on 1 and win on 1' well you would if you had
4 people playing a round of cards before the first deal.
As a layer I think this would be more in my favour on the horses,
maybe.
If you can put me right on this or think I am barking mad then please
let me know!

Max 8 runner under 2/1 Handicap
Another win for the lay's when Afro Man came in 2nd making the score 11
to the them and only 2 to the backers, I must admit I can not see the
backers catching up and I really don't fancy trying to create a staking
plan for selections that are 2/1 or under and only win once every 8
selections or so. Still we can carry on watching for a while longer!

Lay bet only as close to the off as you can get. Only lay if
it's odds at the normal bookies is between 1/2 and 15/8.

As at 8 o'clock this morning the following horses were identified as
within Bismarx range.
Watch for market changes before the race.
Exercise caution at odds over 2.8 or where non-runner's have left less
than 5 runner's in a race.
Generally do not lay when wide odds disparity (3.0+) has emerged
between the Favourite and the other runner's.
