Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
It really hasn't been my week at Ascot. I
had a loser Monday and a NR Tuesday and I forgot to give you the selection
yesterday and then Yeates did win but Sergeant Cecil came in last.
I
give up!

We talked about dutching a couple of
weeks ago and I want to talk more about this subject because I think it is
quite interesting and could hold some opportunties for adding to your
bank.

I tend to only dutch to win, I mean you can lay but the challenge is to
try and win whatever and laying and liability can make it a little
messy.
I try to look for a race where the top 2, 3 or 4 seem to have far
better prices than the rest of the field so we can be resonably confident we
can win.
If we take 14.55 Ayr there are 3 top selections with a couple
of points and it is a small field so a pretty good place to start.

Adventure 3.35 (100 divided by 3.35 equals 29.85)
Atephobia 5.5 (100 divided
by 5.5 equals 18.18)
Willyn 5.4 (100 divided by 5.4 equals 18.52)
18.52 +
18.18 + 29.85 = 66.55%
Without taking into account the overound (110% at
the time of writing) we have a 66.55% chance of winning
But at the
16.10 Ayr we also have
Baltimore Jack 4.0 (100 divided by 4.0 equals
25.00)
Prospect Place 4.7 (100 divided by 4.7 equals 21.27)
Distant Sun
4.7 (100 divided by 4.7 equals 21.27)

2. Guest Selection - 19-04-2007
I have been
receiving some win tips from a good friend of mine called Shaun.
There
are two selections Best and Next best. You can look at best only or follow
both. Shaun suggest that you aim to make 5% of your bank a day and he chases
any losses onto the next selection.
I am going to start with a
£500 bank.
What you do then is take 5% of your bank, in this case
£25.00 and then divide it by the available odds and that's your
stake.
So if the odds were 2/1 then I would divide £25 by 2 making a
£12.50 stake.
If I then lost I would take the £25 already lost
and add it to my next stake that is again 5% of my bank and then divide this
new figure by the available odds.
