Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I was sent a copy of a system called "Relaxing Lays" so I thought I would
share with you what I think of the system.

This
is quite a short PDF wich gets straight to the point but the system is covered
in detail in these pages and shows exactly what you have to do.
Ok to
the system.
Everything you need to select the races are available from
the Racing Post website and I suspect you can actually make your initial
selections the night before.
I am actually not quite sure where the name
"relaxing lays" has come from because you need to check the markets about 2
mins before the off to make sure the selections you have already made are in
the correct betting position, so you need to stick around to see the
selections, not exactly relaxing...lol
There were no results with the
system but a quick email to the author asking for them and he sent me a
spreadsheet with all the results since 2002!
There are betfair prices in
this spreadsheet which are more than likely inflated on the SP but with an
average SP of around 7 or 8 they are probably not that far out. By looking at
the results table you will probably have on average about 5 selections a day,
but probably nearer 2 or 3 as we go into winter.
The results are given
at level stakes and making 0.95 of a point every win, which over 6 years at
level stakes gave a profit of 757.96. If the results are correct then it could
certainly be used and investment type system. Although the author has assured
me that the results are not back tested at Adrian's site, I am always a bit
dubious when someone hands me results from so far back.

There is only one rule: If the NR
reduction factor is 10% or more (check the "Rules" tab to the left of the
market) on the market then it is a "No bet". Because of this, it is obviously
better to bet nearer the off.
