21st July
2008 Todays ramblings Good Morning.
I just love the way Hamilton is driving at
the moment he really is getting the best out of the car.
I had a good week off from this
tips email and got a lot of work done. I think every think is now quiet on the
personal front so I should be able to get back to some kind of normality. I
had an email this morning asking me how much he should bet on each selection in
this email, because the reader was new to betting and wasn't
sure.
Firstly I don't recommend any one bets on any of my selections,
that is until they familiar with them and confident they work.
Secondly
if you do decide to bet then you should use the minimum stakes you can, until
you get used to betting.
I am a big advocate of "paper trading" before
you bet any real money but at the same time, I realise that human nature will
probably cause many people to have a go quite quickly, because some "hands on"
experience is the only thing that will satisfy them.
If you are one of
these then I suggest you really do have a good think about how this is going to
effect your bank.
If you are backing then there are plenty of bookies
around that will allow you to open accounts with about £10 to £20
and even match your initial deposit in some cases. You should be able to place
bets as low as 10p with some of these.
Laying is slightly different and
you will have to be content with betfair or the few smaller exchanges. http://www.laybetting.com/Betting-exchanges.htm
Here
is a quick tutorial on laying. http://www.laybetting.com/using-betfair.htm
Betfair
has a minimum bet size of £2.00 but if you are careful and don't abuse
it, you can get around this. http://www.laybetting.com/under-2-betfair.htm
Even
I use this sometimes when testing and it is great for higher priced lay's where
I will say set a maximum liability of £10, so I may have to stake under
£2 to still make a bet.
So if you are going to jump in and start
betting without much thought, then I would suggest you keep your stakes as
small as possible, that is until you learn all the lessons that you are going
to have to, if you are ever going to be successful! Don't forget to check
out the "Deadly Sins of Gambling". http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/deadly-sins-of-gambling.htm
Greyhound System Test
("Something New I came up with")
New Greyhound Lay system
I had come up with. http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/12-03-2008.htm
After
some thought I think that the only way to run this system is as a "Stop in
Profit". I am going to keep the maximum odds set to 6.00 and I am going to be a
little naughty and add in a lay ladder staking plan. If you are a subscriber
to GHB I am going to
start putting the session file up for you (mon to fri) http://www.greyhorsebot.co.uk/session/session3.xml The
settings in this session file are odds 1 to 6.00 and 0.10 stake so you may want
to use your own stake settings, which you should do anyway because I could make
a mistake! All Screen shots. http://www.laybetting.com/greyhound-lay-selections.htm

Back test system ( "A 'back'
system that I came up with a while ago")
This system is available
as part of The Pro Betting Systems e-book. http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/go_pbs.htm
As a new idea I am going to
start a more aggressive staking plan trial and stick more closely to the
CashMaster idea.
Please Note: This is a trial.
Please do not attempt to run a staking plan unless you understand exactly what
you are getting yourself into.
New Trial Started 21/07/2008.
Start Bank £500 Bank Now: £500 We will use 5% of our
current bank as our base stake (divided by the odds we get) and we will use the
CashMaster system to get back loses except when the selections price at betfair
is under 2.00. All winnings will be calculated -5% betfair charge. If a runner
is under 2.00 and we are recovering loses then we prospone the staking plan and
stake the whole 5% stake.
Yesterday. (When I last did the
selections) 15:10, NmkJ, Marchand D´Or EP 4.2 (Staking Stake
£3.12) 1st 5/2
Today. 15:00, Ayr, Fitz
Flyer EP 2.58 (stake 15.82) Remember this is just a test and we are
paper testing "backing" these selections. Other Information ("
Here is some other info that should help you") I Prefer
