21st February
2008 Todays ramblings Good Morning.
I mentioned on Monday that I was looking at a system
called "Frontline Lay" which is due to be released very soon. http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/19-02-2008.htm
I
have a friend called Gordon who often helps me look at new systems, so I gave
it to him to have a look at, because as I mentioned it was a little long winded
and at this moment I am a bit short on time.
This his first report on
the system from yesterday.
"Well first of all I have made an executive
decision, I have decided not to include Irish racing (mal - I agree).
The system writer does not say not to include them, but I know you are
not a fan and I am trying to keep the time needed to a minimum. Even so it has
taken me 1hr 40mins just to go through the 2 AW meetings!! I know that will
reduce with practise, I cant wait!!LOL
Anyway, the selection for today
is Ray Diamond in the Kemp 7.50 (3rd 7/2).
One other potential problem
I thought of last night is that although the author says a selection must be no
more than 6.0 to qualify, he also says that bets should be placed at the last
minute, by which time the price could be over 6.0, what happens then??
For a long time this morning it looked as though the selection was
going to be Maslaha in the 5.10 Ling (2nd 7/1), an unraced horse. As with a lot
of systems/methods unraced horses are going to score very badly, but due to
being unproven rather than unachievers, something that personally I do not
like."
Thanks Gordon for that report I am really
grateful.
Gordon makes a couple of interesting points about the system
which I will pass on to the author for clarification, I know he is working on
some video's to help with the selection process.
It was good to see that
both the selections would have won for the system.
I will keep you
informed how the test goes.
