Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Ludlow has been abandoned because of
water.
Yesterday I missed all the screenshot but one, because of a big
crash on my main test machine. I think it was when I opened the 3rd betfair
window which was just after I had set the 7th copy of the Grey Horse bot
running.
I had to put together some extra testing yesterday on the
latest version of the bot which included laying two horses in the same race,
which actually worked quite well and has got me thinking about working out a
system.
I was thinking if I set two bots up, one to lay favourites
between 1 and 2.00 and one to lay any horse from 2.00 to 3.00 or 2.00 to 4.00
and select the same races in both, that could be interesting. You couldn't use
staking but unless you were unlucky enough to get caught with a dead heat at
least you could cut down your liability.
What a win on the place
system(3) yesterday. Although it is a slow moving system it has been building
nicely.
Sorry this is quick and late this morning, but I had an early
appointment and I have to rush off to another one.

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay System
started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*)
are from the original and tighter system, I am not using these
now.
You can see all the results since the 14th (when I introduced
the latest selection method)
here. I am now using what I call the "rule of 3", this means
we go for 3 wins and use a 3 race scratch back to get back any
losses.
