Shock! "Turners Winning Ways" lost yesterday.

What I found interesting was that I had a choice of two races to pick from and this was the choice because of it's rating.

I spoke to David about this last night and he thinks that there is one more thing he could add to the selection method which may improve it even more.

When you think about it, even with a lot of testing there will still be odd occasions that you were not prepared for, but at least David is on hand to try and improve them!

I have been talking with Shaun ("stop at a winner") about the Placepot run by the tote.

In case you don't know...

Placepot bets take place daily at every British race meeting. The aim is to select a placed horse in all 6 Placepot races at your selected meeting. The Placepot races are always races 1 - 6 unless otherwise stated.

Some of you may have come across the System "Cracking the Placepot" which using a perm to try and pick winners.

I have never tried it but reading post's around the net there are mixed reviews.

Anyway Shaun picks Winners with great regularity, but more important on most occassion the selections are placed.

So we are going to see if we can come up with our own method for "Cracking the Placepot".

Maybe I should ask David as Well!
