Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I had quite a quiet
weekend.
A nice win on our guest selection (back 4 Profit) on Friday
with the highest price selection coming in first. I was going through the
selections I had since about January yesterday and I make it 114 and out of
those only 4 losers, but I only have SP to go on because I didn't actually
start using them myself until last week and these include ones from Saturday as
well, which I wouldn't normally do.
I have been looking around at using
a bookie for these selections rather than Betfair. I came across
Paddy Power
 who are giving away £20 free bet if you bet
£10.
There are no early prices yet but I fancy the idea of playing
with the bookies money and once you have placed the initial bet you can drop
down to bets as low as 40p.
Just an idea, especially when you have
selections that seem to be winning as well as these do.
Betfairs site
has been playing up this morning, it appeared to crash at about 9.20 and then I
had a few difficulties placing bets. Now when I look it is not showing any bets
on this market and I can not load some markets, so maybe I will open up that
Paddy Power
account!
I haven't had many email's about the "
New Greyhound Lay system" that we have been running quite a while now. Have you
been following it? If so have you found away of using the selections that suit
you?
It would be great to hear from you so don't be shy.
I will
put up the links to all the results graphics over the next couple of days.
Sorry I haven't put them in any spreadsheet or anything but I think the pic's
are enough to give you a good idea how they have been working for me. I still
think we should drop any race where there are two selections, we have lost on a
few of these and it seems a pointless exercise to include them if they are
likely to cause a loss. A maximum price of 6.00 seems to work well as well
unless you have tried a different number with better
results.

some thought I think that the only way to run this system is as a "Stop in
Profit". I am going to keep the maximum odds set to 6.00 and I am going to be a

am not sure about NR's, the favourite does tend to win most of the time, with
the second favourite about a 3rd of the time so it could be worth backing the
the second if the favourite is a NR. If the second favourite is a NR then you
can take the next runner in the betting.
