Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Well it doesn't look to good for the weather this weekend so I may
just work!
We had another loss on The Miracle system yesterday and I think I
may have an idea why this could be, but need to test a little longer.
You may know that if a horse runs again quite soon after a winner
and before the handicappers can reasses it's penalty weight they
sometime add an automatic penalty and you can tell this by a
(ex3),(ex5) etc, along side the horses name on the race card.
A few of our selections lately have had these penalties and my
research shows there is a greater than average chance of the horse
losing.
It could be just coincidence but it is certainly something we should
keep an eye on.
I am going to run another experiment as well, but I will report on
this a bit later.
We are not only losing on the Miracle system but I am having trouble
getting a good run on the Best lay of the day as well. There were
a lot of NR's in the race yesterday which didn't help.
Strangely though the new test lay I am trying is working very well!

Well we lost on Blue Java, but we won on Madformakeup although I
wonder if the price would have been available on the exchange, it
was earlier in the day but I didn't check later.
