Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Sorry it's late again my morning hasn't gone as planned!
What I want to do over the next couple of weeks is try to come up with
a consistant win system.
We are going to base this around the Racingpost and Adrian Massey's
speed ratings.
Now I would love to say we were going to come up with a system that
will produced lots of winners at 3/1 and make us plenty of money at
level stakes, but I am afraid in reality this is almost impossible
to do especially with a system.
Although I would like the system to make money at level stakes but I
suspect we will have to end up with some kind of staking system
especially as we will be aiming somewhere between 1/2 and 6/4.
A good source of favourites at this price are Maidens but we have
already seen that these races do not give us a consistant number
of winners, so we need to look somewhere else.
Playing around with some figures at Adrians site produced the following.
Results broken down by Number of Runners
2,3,4 or 5 = 48.6%
6 or 7 = 45.4%
8 or 9 = 43.1%
10 or 11 = 40.4%
Results broken down by Starting Price
1-2 to 10-11 =55.6%
Evens to 11-8 = 42.9%
6-4 to 15-8 = 35.4%
You can see by this that most of the winners are coming from races with
less than 5 or less runners between 1-2 to 10-11.
