Todays ramblings

Wins...Again!
Cool kid I like him and now you have to start wondering
if he could pull it off and win the world championship in his rookie year, but
we must not get carried away there are still another 11 races to go.
So any way what happened to his price on betfair?
Well on Thursday
when we first talked about trading on his price he was 2.03 or close to that,
we last night he was down 1.64 and Alonso has gone from 2.66 to 3.4.
I
am very tempted to lay Lewis now because there is bound to be a hiccup or 2
before the end of the season.

Sometimes I wonder just
how observant I am. I was looking at betfair this morning when I noticed there
is a new horse racing market (Dist) available and (AvB) has disappeared!
When did this happen?
You can now bet on the winning distance of
the 1st horse past the post against the 2nd place runner.
The distance
that you have to choose from seems to change from race to race, so I guess it
depends on the type of race and number of runners.
Anyone got any
statistics about winning margins of horses?
I suppose you could look at
strong favourites and see how they have performed in the past but I am not sure
that would help you a great deal!
2. Guest Selection -

I have been receiving some win tips from a good friend of mine
called Shaun.
There are two selections Best and Next best. You can
look at best only or follow both. Shaun suggest that you aim to make 5% of your
bank a day and he chases any losses onto the next selection.
I am
going to start with a £500 bank.
What you do then is take 5% of your
bank, in this case £25.00 and then divide it by the available odds and
that's your stake.
So if the odds were 2/1 then I would divide £25 by
2 making a £12.50 stake.
If I then lost I would take the £25
already lost and add it to my next stake that is again 5% of my bank and then
divide this new figure by the available odds.
