Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I am a little late this morning. I had to go to the doctors
to see if I could get anything to help me with my sinuses. They are really
quite bad at the moment so no video from me again today.
Over the next
couple of weeks I want to start talking about system development and how you go
about researching an idea and then testing what you find.
I believe and
have said so on many occasions that the best system is one that you have either
created yourself or have developed by taking someone elses and turned it into
something that suits you.
I could sit here all day giving advice about
betting and staking but it will never suit everyone and that is part of the key
to being successful.
It is like certain investments only suit certain
people.
I know people who are prepared to sit in front of their computer
screen all day and scalp a few quid on each race and of course there are others
who have to go to work and want to just put a couple of bets on just before
work and then see what happens when they get home.
And there is everyone
in between!
So the first thing to consider is what suits you, then we
need to consider risk and we will talk a little about that
tomorrow.

The idea is really to select "one a day" to
lay bet (http://www.laybetting.com/) on betfair or
betdaq, which should be the shortest price. David has set a maximum price limit
of 12/1 or 13 on betfair. The main rule (and one we have started to use across
a number of our systems) is that you should not bet if the reduction factor for
the race is 10% or more.
