Git it around the wrong way yesterday "Campeon" lost, "Big Hassle"
(Lay of The Day) Won !
Todays ramblings
Don't forget to visit the forum always plenty of tips and ideas there:
http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/forum/
I am off out for the day, so I got up bright and early this morning.
Interesting to hear some of your comments after my soapbox moment
yesterday and it's pretty clear most of my readers are careful!
Here is one from I got from a reader called Allen...
"
I'm not boasting at all when I say that I have lost no money overall
to the bookies for the last six/seven years.
I can say that with some certainty because I log every one of my
serious bets and can trace all of them back for almost all of that time.
Thats not to say that I dont have any fun bets, I do, but none of those
fun bets come out of my betting bank and anyway too high a proportion of
those do lose.
My main problem is that I dont have the courage of my convictions and
therefor I know that I dont really bet with large enough stakes and so
obviously dont reap the rewards.
Even so my profits every year mean we have a pretty good xmas and my
wife does'nt go short of xmas pressies so that sets me up well for the
next year.
I know which side my breads buttered on.
I use a lot of free advice services, yours included, but rarely take
tips at face value, for instance i probably only use 2 of yours on
average each week.
What I do with all the advices is to look at them in relation to my
own assesments and only back them when I am 150% sure that they have
what I believe is an excellent chance of coming in first.
Anyone who takes tips from any source, at face value, really should'nt
be gambling. They are bookies canon fodder and what they open their
shops for each day.
For your info, one publication that I have found invaluable over the
last few years is PROFILE, from Nomadic Press.
http://www.nomadicpress.co.uk
I simply now DO NOT have a bet without I first consult their database
and is the only racing information service that I subscribe to.
"
I think your agree that these are wise words from Allen.
Lot's of UK meetings today, Catterick, Kempton, Lingfield, Uttoxeter
And Worcester, but i must admit I am having problems finding anything
that I really fancy.
How about a "Almost Silly Bet" 20.55 Kempton, 4/1 Buy On The Red
actually it's probably not that silly, the horse has won it's last
2 starts and is on the up and up, but there are certainly a couple of
others in this race that are a danger, especially Red Romeo being
ridden by Mr Fallon!
Have a good day's racing.
