14th April
2008 Todays ramblings Good Morning.
You may remember that at
the end of summer last year I a couple of weeks putting up a "Polly tunnel" (a
big plastic greenhouse) in the back garden. Well I didn't realise it would take
up so much of my time. Planting, weeding, digging and generally tidying around
took over a lot of my weekend and although many of the seedlings still look as
if they are just hanging on through the cold evenings, some veggies just love
the enviroment. I spent some time picking at a bowl of fresh salad leaves and
managed to "scoff" a good handful before it dawned on me how very tasty they
were. Sorry, I didn't mean to get carried away with the delights of fresh
vegetables!
You may have read last Thursday's insert from Darren from
the Betting
School about concentrating on one area of betting. http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/10-04-2008.htm
You
may remember also, that a couple of weeks ago I also talked along similar lines
when I said it could be a good idea to concentrate on AW only.
I have
also read Tony Gibson article in the April version of the
Betting
School report and although in his article Tony is talking more about the
flat season and a specific type of runner there is no doubt that specialising
in one area can pay dividends.
It is worth going to a site like
Adrian Massey's and
just spending some time looking at different areas. Try not to get to bogged
down with back testing but rather look for areas that may give you a higher
strike rate than you would normally expect and then do further research on live
racing and see what you come up with.
I actually quite enjoy the times
when I have a couple of hours spare, when I can research those inkling of ideas
that seem to have come from nowhere during times when you are pondering your
daily results. ----------------- New Lay Test http://www.laybetting.com/2008-lay-test.htm

had come up with. http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/12-03-2008.htm
After
some thought I think that the only way to run this system is as a "Stop in
Profit". I am going to keep the maximum odds set to 6.00 and I am going to be a
little naughty and add in a lay ladder staking plan.
Easy day again
