14th March
2008 Todays ramblings Good Morning.
Well I guess many of you will know what I
will be doing this weekend...Yep watching the first F1 grand prix of the
year.
I won't be getting up early for the Saturday qualifying (well I
don't think I will) but I will be up on Sunday morning at 3am to watch the race
and build up.
Last nights practice (you can watch it on ITV-f1.com now)
was quite interesting. Ferrari and Mclaren were where we thought they probably
would be at the top, but Mark Webber was the surprise with a pretty fast time,
of course the real speed of each team will be shown tomorrow in
qualifying.
----------------------- We have had a really busy couple
of weeks testing some new options in
GHB (grey horse bot).
We have added an excel option to take over staking. This is really exciting
because it now means the user can decide exactly how they want to handle loses
and wins.
We also put a simple dutching system in the Beta version last
week and have spent this week adding more options to make it even more
useful.
I was hoping to release another beta today, but the programmers
decided to add another feature late last night so that means more testing
today!
I get more excited about
GHB all the
time!

Lay
test http://www.laybetting.com/2008-lay-test.htm
Pentathlon with it's low price gave a great boost to our bank yesterday
and I hoping by the end of racing Monday we could finally have our first pot.
I have noticed one thing though and that is if you watch some of these
races then sometimes you can really get worried. I really thought at one time
yesterday we were going to lose on Pentathlon, but I should have faith in the
system.
Yesterday 2.30 Hex: Patxaran 22 NR 5.05 South: Pentathlon

----------------- New
Greyhound Lay system I had come up with. http://www.horseracingsystemsuk.com/12-03-2008.htm
I
forgot to mention that with this system you can sometimes get to runners in the
same race, I have think we should just lay them both. I also realised I didn't
give you all the selections because I like to use the system up to about 5.30pm
but we could go to 6pm.
You can see that although we lost on the first
race we back in profit after the next 4 races and even though we had another
loser we were in profit at the end of the day.
While testing I have my
odds trigger range set to a maximum of 20 to capture every selection but it was
quite interesting to see yesterday that they were nearly all at reasonable
prices.

Guest Selection I have a couple of guest selections
lined up for you. The first is from "Wrightyoh"
"After reading and
studying numerous laying guides and ideas I have come up with a system using
the racing post forecast favourites. In a nutshell this is done by comparing
the forecast favourite with the other runners and trying to find at least two
other runners that have a good chance of beating the forecast favourite. I am
not just looking at negative factors for the favourite but comparing these
factors against the other runners. The races I select need to have 7 runners or
more for the sake of probability and are usually hcps. "
Wrightyoh is
testing two systems but there won't always be a selection on both
systems. Yesterday Sys 1. No Selection Sys 2 18.50 Wolves,
