"Northern Rambler" Just didn't have the extra pace needed to win.

I chose 6 races yesterday 4 won, the two I expected to win (Northern Rambler being one) lost!

Today I have 12 possible bets to choose from, 6 are forecast as quite short odds, but none of them actually stick out and say "One to watch" which has been the same all week.

As most of you will know November is one of those months where a lot of people will refrain from betting altogether (some include October as well).

Why?

Reading form becomes very difficult when you have horses that have done well on the flat and are now trying their luck over jumps, horse that have not run for several months now looking to pickup where they left off and don't forget the newbies on their first season.

No wonder some pro's decide to hibernate!

I must admit that I tend to step up my "Stop at a Winner" style betting in favour of single hit races this time of year, although I like to make sure I have at least 6 races to bet on when I do.

I know many gamblers who also stay away from Saturdays and Tuesdays and I can vouch for Saturdays because they do have a tendency to make me cry!
