Good Morning.
I wonder if you have noticed the different search methods available
on the Racing Post web site.
There is the normal search box on the top right hand corner where
you can search for just about anything but it works well for
Jockey, trainer and the horse.
The one that will probably interest most of us though is the results
information and there are several ways you can do this.
Firstly if you just want the current days results you go
RACING - Results- at a glance or Fast Results.
Secondly If you want to search past results then you have a couple
of choices.
RACING - Results- Results Search which when you actually go to
this page it is called advanced search and allows you to pick
between two dates, pick a country or course.
Most of the time I prefer to use search facility that you will
find if you select RACING - Results- and one of the last few
days. This then allows you to pick any date, month or year and
the course. As we normally know the date we are looking for, this
seems the best option for me.
One option I must admit I hadn't noticed myself (duh!) is the one
on the home page under (yep you guessed it) >>Results. This is a
neat little system that lets you select a date from the last 7 and
then shows you the courses on that date. Simply clicking one of
the courses will bring up the normal past results screen.

To get the selections I am just using pointers like RPR and Topspeed
so this really does need refining but seems to be working at the
moment.

Well we lost again with the lay yesterday which now means we only
have a strike rate of 50% which is very poor for a lay system.
On the other hand we won again on the back side, ok the odds were not
great but I think overal it certainly looks better for backing than
laying.
