Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I had a great weekend. The
agility show was a good laugh on Saturday. I had the chance to run George on a
Nursery run which was actually quite long over quite a few jumps and I was
totally worn out at the end of it. My excuse was I was getting over my chest
infection, but I have a feeling I need to get fitter!
Please note there will not be
any tips tomorrow. I have to be in another part of the country quite early so I
won't have time to do them...Sorry.
Button could only make 5th at
the weekend and so the Red Bulls have chipped away a little at his points
although it was probably better from his point of view that Webber won his
first Grand Prix because that didn't allow Vettel to get the extra points.
I noticed that Button's price
has started to go out on the exchanges which I did say it would as soon as
button had a couple of bad results. We have to remember there are still 3
contenders behind him and a Mark Webber showed on Sunday those guys can soon
fall over each over.
21pts lead is still quite a
cushion with only 8 races to go but the battle is really starting to heat up.
My only question about Sunday was if Button was struggling with getting heat
into his tyres then why wasn't Barrichello!
Following on my "Create Your Own
Betting System" chat I think one of the most important things to remember is to
specialise in a certain area first then move on.
I have probably mentioned this
plenty of times and it is a big belief of mine that most people do not have the
time to learn everything about every sport. Even the bookies employ specialist
in every field to help them determine odds.
It's a bit like me and F1 motor
racing. I am a big fan of this sport and probably understand the in-outs of how
everything works far better than I do football.
I have been watching the sport
for years and I have a good idea about each driver and the teams and know all
the circuits quite well, so it make sense for me to create systems around this
sport.
I also know a lot of horse
racing but to me this is a sport with a lot of areas within the main one. AW,
jumps, flat and then maidens, novices and handicaps are all different version
of the same sport and should be treated as such.
No matter what the so called
experts say, AW form and Grass are different as is Flat and Jump. Going makes a
difference as does distance and class, so why not just specialise on one area
to start with? When you have worked out a good system there, then maybe move
on.
More on Wednesday...

The idea is really to select "one a day" to
lay bet (http://www.laybetting.com/) on betfair or
betdaq, which should be the shortest price. David has set a maximum price limit
of 12/1 or 13 on betfair. The main rule (and one we have started to use across
a number of our systems) is that you should not bet if the reduction factor for
the race is 10% or more.
