Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
A very nice win for the Miracle system yesterday when Herakles came
in at 7/2 and he actually touched 9/2 during the day.

I decided only to show this years as I have really only settled on
the final system the last couple of months and earlier selections
(good or Bad) would not be a true reflection of the method as it
stands today.

I was back on winning ways with the FFF plan yesterday with a 2/1
win on the first selection.

I actually had a very interesting email from a reader who purchased
the system and is very pleased with it and told me how he tweaked
the method a little and hasn't had a losing day yet because of it.
He is not the only one to send me an endorsement of the system either,
which I must admit that doesn't happen to often!

There is nothing I like better than getting an email from someone
who has taken something that already works, but then tries to
improve it, in some ways this will always be a thinking person's game!
I see this a lot with my own Lay Betting System where people use their
own experience and knowledge to decide whether to lay or not even
if they know there is a good chance they will win.
This is not to say you shouldn't rely on a system or tips especially
if they do well, it's just on some occasions you may like to use
what you have learned to improve your chance.
Here's an example.
Now we are getting into the flat season we have started to use
the V4 flat Lay Betting System again, which last year had a success
rate of 86%.
We did a run down of last years results to see if we could test a
points system so that we could find the strongest lay of the day.
foinavon (a forum member) was good enough to post the results so
far from the trial.
The breakdown is as follows:
7 points: 4 selections - 3 correct (75% ) 1 won S.P. 5/1
6 points: 10 selections - 10 correct (100% )
5 points: 12 selections - 11 correct (91.6%) 1 won S.P. 11/2
4 points: 5 selections - 4 correct (80% ) 1 won S.P. 3/1
3 points: 3 selections - 2 correct (66.6%) 1 won S.P. 15/8
2 points: 2 selections - 2 correct (100% )
"I did say initially that 5,6 & 7 point selections should be about 89%
correct, in fact, on this small sample, they have been 92.3% correct.
The only thing however that it really proves is how good the V4 is."

This goes to show than in some cases just following the system may
be the correct course of action, but there is no reason why it
shouldn't be questioned and an alternative idea tested.
