Yesterdays Results
Present Glory (Miracle System) came 1st, Lord On The Run (Best Lay bet
of the Day) came 8th.

Todays ramblings
Good Morning it's Friday..
Wll we only won on one of the 2 horse lays yesterday but it was the
second so it does mean we had 9 consecutive wins before losing.
Actually I had a great day yesterday with lay's, only lost 1 out of
8 selections and that was Meadow Hawk @ 3.95, so I am not complaining
at all!
I was thinking yesterday that it has been a while since I have had
a losing "best lay of the day" and the Miracle System has been doing
quite well lately as well!

I had some nice trades as well yesterday, I always find the trick to
trading is not to be greedy, go for small movements but often.
I find this way I hardly ever get caught out, but as soon as I start
trying for bigger movements that's when I can not clear a trade and
get caught with my trousers down, so to speek.

Short priced favourits
Max 8 runner under 2/1, handicaps
Another win to the lay's yesterday when Dance Partner (8/11f) came 3rd.
So that is now 7 to the lay's and just 1 short priced favourite to
the backers, what's going on here backers, I handed this one to you
on a plate!
Only kidding, at these short prices sooner or later we layers are
going to take a knocking when several come in all at once, but I wonder
what our chances will be of getting hit for a long losing run.
As it stands now we are about 6 pts up (well probably just under) on the
lay side, so a few winners at better than evens would wipe that out as
I am sure you are aware, so where is this going?
From a lay point of view at the moment it is great, low liability with
plenty of wins it is almost the holy grail, but it is not going to last...
well I don't expect it to, but what about the backers how are they
handling this.
They are going to need a good run of wins to make this up, so a staking
plan of some sort is going to be needed, but I want to wait until we
get the next winner to decide what may work best.
Unfortunatly it will have to wait until next week because there is no
selection today.
I have also had a request to show the just before the off lay
tips.
The rules are:
Lay bet only as close to the off as you can get. Only lay if
it's odds at the normal bookies is between 1/2 and 15/8.

racingPost's own Desktop betting shop.
