Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
I have got a little bit of exciting news that I hope to
show you in the next few days regarding short priced lay bets.
I met
this tipster yesterday known as the "Dutchman", he is a really nice guy and we
had a lot to talk about. One of those things we discussed was place
laying.
If you have been reading this email for any length of time then
you will know how we have tried to come up with a successful lay system to win
on the place lay market, with little success. Well Mr. Dutchman showed me his
results and I was really surprised how well they have been doing.
He
show me his betfair account using 2.00 stakes and a lay ladder, but as his
longest losing run has been 3 and his average prices is 2.32 or something close
it is working really well.
Anyway I was impressed and I do know a thing
or two about this sort of thing and I hope to tell you more about his
selections in the next couple of days, and hopefully show you some selections
and results.
I didn't get to run the Greyhound bot yesterday, but
judging by the results we could have hit stop loss again. It is a little
difficult to tell because if you take out the (*) loss and the 2 8/1 losers
then there is a chance it wasn't that bad, but I have no way of being sure so
we will put in a £50 loss.
I am going to keep the settings the
same because remember we won about £140 originally before we started a
running total.

5.57)
Stop Loss: 2.00 x 25 = 50.00

I have had a little bit of a
bad week myself with betting but this is to be expected sometimes and I know
that as long as I stick to my betting plan I will be back on top before
long.
This is the second time this week where we haven't got a selection
for the "Best Lay of the Day" which is really strange, there are normally at
least 2 or more selections that qualify.
This is where it can get
dangerous because you start scratching around for bets and end up taking
anything. I don't do this because I know better but if your one that does, then
you better get out of that habit quickly because this is a sure way to lose
your bank.

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay System
started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are
from the original and tighter system, I am not using these now.
You can see
all the results since the 14th (when I introduced the latest selection method)
here. I am now using what I call the "rule of 3", this means
we go for 3 wins and use a 3 race scratch back to get back any
losses.
