Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
We have an Ace Naps (9) selection today. The first one

Have you ever noticed how
many systems there are out there??. Actually that's a rhetorical question. For
someone who is new to betting or laying it really can be unbelievably confusing
and this mail is a quick view from what I read in your e-letter and the newbie
asking how much he should wager. Actually this is akin to asking how long is a
piece of string but no fault of the new guy.
What I have not seen
though is how to manage your Betting Bank correctly according to what you have
available. With that in mind would it be possible to have a short discussion in
one of your mails sometimes in the future??.
I have always been an
advocate of small stakes lead to big returns (eventually) and treating
laying/betting strictly as a business with a plan that is STRESSED. What this
means is it deals in a "worst case scenario" and possible plans on how to deal
with this situation. I always take out a small percentage from my bank every
few days even if this is only £10 as this is now MINE and I can't lose it
by being stupid (definitely been there done that etc).
I do this even
if I am losing some of the bank with bad calls. The worst thing I think that
anyone can do is leave the back alone to see it build up and up and not get any
benefit from it.
The percentage i leave in i re-calculate to get the
next weeks following stakes. With this method though it is slow eventually the
punter can make enough on just one wager to live on for the week. I also work
on the premise that with the minimum wage being £5.50 (rounded down) over
a average 37.5 week this is £206 before tax so work to this level and
your OK for a while. Obviously the sky really is the limit and there is nothing
stopping the punter from making this amount off every selection during the
afternoon.
It would be interesting to hear some other methods or
techniques. Perhaps you could cast your eye over this and critique it??

Do you have your own ideas on how to run your
bank?
If so let me know and we can share ideas with all
readers.
I think many new comers underestimate the importance of their
bank and tend to take chances with it, that experienced traders
wouldn't.
As I do a lot of testing with systems and the Grey Horse Bot
it may appear sometimes that I throw money away and I will admit, that
sometimes the Grey Horse Bot has cost me a £500 bank but this is
commercial testing and I need to be sure, that I am giving our customers a
product that works on a live market.
My main bank though is a different
matter and I treat it with a lot of respect. I don't use any of the money from
this unless I am using a tried and tested system that I am verry confident
about.
I agree with Graeme that you also need to take out some of the
money sometimes and either treat yourself or put it into savings or even add it
to another bank thatyou cab use for another tip.
I suppose I have always
lived by the saying "don't put all your eggs in one basket" and so I do have
multiple banks and each one is treated with a lot of respect.
