Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Firstly a big thankyou for all your emails yesterday, I
didn't realise it would provoke such a response, but I was really pleased to
see that most of you were very happy with the service I provide.
There
were a lot of good points as to why Harvey's email was not fair but I am not
going to dwell on it, because he probably isn't getting my replies
anyway.
But I would like to talk about emails briefly to show you the
sort of things that can happen.
I receive around 100 emails every 2hrs
and 99% of these are not real emails so like most people, I have filters in
place to try and catch them. Mine are not as tight as some because I realise
that I have to allow for subject headings being similar to emails I would
normally reject, but there is no reason why 1 or 2 emails could get stopped by
my system.
Also you will have spam filters, especially if you are using
hotmail, AOL, Yahoo to name a few, so the first thing you should always do is
check this box for a reply, although in some cases emails can get stopped by
these bigger companies before you even see them.
If you email me and you
do not get a reply, it is not normal and unless it is a weekend or I am on
holiday then there are lots of other ways you can contact me.

Actually there is a problem I sometimes get. People
email me through the forum but their forum reply email address is out of date,
so they never hear from me, but what can I do when this happens, well I post a
reply on the forum instead.

** Bot Problems **
If you are using one of our bots
then unfortunately you probably will not be able to use it today. We started
getting errors yesterday afternoon and it appears there is a problem with the
API and betfair do know about it and are trying to fix it now.
We won
again yesterday with the Greyhound bot.
I am going to keep the settings the
same.

Although I have been testing
Millionaire's Row (9) with real money for a little while I haven't really
reported on it. So from this morning I am going to start showing you the prices
I get and the stakes I am using to make profit. My overall stake is only
£5 for this demonstration and although we have an idea for a staking plan
I wont be using it at the moment.
This is all part of the process of
using systems and I think you can see that this selection has plenty of winners
in fact daily wise the maximum has been two losers in a row, so now we just
have to work out the best stakes to make sure we get a return from the prices
available.
I am also hoping that from tomorrow I will be able to
introduce a second tip to this section, just something else my friend and I
have been working on.

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay System
started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are
from the original and tighter system, I am not using these now.
You can see
all the results since the 14th (when I introduced the latest selection method)
here. I am now using what I call the "rule of 3", this means
we go for 3 wins and use a 3 race scratch back to get back any
losses.
