Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Wow! I can not believe how many
emails I received yesterday regarding feedback about this newsletter.
As always most of them were
helpful and full of great comments and some very interesting ideas so I can
only thank those of you that put the effort into sending me feedback.
I will try to get around to
replying to those that ask questions but there are a lot to get through!
I did have a few emails from
people giving me real grief over my 50p a day comment which surprised me as it
was only a question but I suppose I should have expected it. I understand that
people don't want to pay for things but I am sure most of these people would
expect to get paid if they worked at something.
Anyway it was just a question
and I really appreciate the feedback. I am going to look into a few of these
idea and come up with a plan. For now it's business as usual! Actually I
must get back to doing the daily videos as well now my hay fever has cleared
up.
We have been talking about creating your own betting system a lot
lately and I was wondering if anyone had come up with anything for just one
course?
I have a couple of systems that produce about 10 bets a year and
they cover just 2 courses but I I have been looking at AW quite a bit lately
and I can see some systems that could possibly find about 50 bets a year at one
course.
I am not taking to much notice of Great Leighs at the moment
because it is quite a new circuit but Lingfield, Kempton, Southwell and
Wolverhampton are well worth looking at individually.
An example could
be that if you look at Maiden races across the AW courses then the favourites
do quite well at around 42% win rate but Kempton seems to be the best course
where they win nearly 47% of the time and the odds are good enough to make a
profit.
You are only going to get about 75 bets a year but you should
make over 10% return.
That is just taking all Maiden races without any
other filters.

The idea is really to select "one a day" to
lay bet (http://www.laybetting.com/) on betfair or
betdaq, which should be the shortest price. David has set a maximum price limit
of 12/1 or 13 on betfair. The main rule (and one we have started to use across
a number of our systems) is that you should not bet if the reduction factor for
the race is 10% or more.
