Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Well this is my last email for just over a
week because I want to have a rest from doing the daily tips over the festive
season.
I have enjoyed this year and although I probably go on a little
to much when we get testing a new system or idea, I do feel it is best to
explore in as much detail as we possibly can.
I suppose the only down
side this year is my wife being so ill but she is defiantly on the mend and if
they can sort her kidney out, then she should be a lot better next
year.
But if you were to meet her, you wouldn't know she has been
through so much, she just seems to keep smiling.
My plans for next year
are to update some of the systems with some new ideas I have been testing and
of course continue to improve the
Grey Horse bot
and to launch a few new ones. In fact me and my programmers have been
discussing plans for a whole new bot which will use a very flexible system and
allow users to create their own rules for the bot. I am already very excited
about the prospect.
So all that leaves me to do is to wish you a very
Merry Christmas and Happy and prosperous New Year.
Carrying on from
Yesterday
No football to talk off last night so I
managed to keep the bank above the £200 mark and we took another 6 off
our previous loss.
Betfair had a pretty big crash in the morning which
also crashed the bot's because the HTTPS connection was severed.
Then I
restarted with a loss but one the next 3 winning actually made my total for the
day 8.0, but we will call it 6.00.
I am not sure if I will run the bot
over the holiday period but if I do I will keep screen shots so we can catch up
next year and I will continue to bet with stakes of 2.00 until we get rid of
the running loss.

After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are
from the original and tighter system.
You can see all the results since the
14th (when I introduced the latest selection method)
here. I am now using what I call the "rule of 3", this means
we go for 3 wins and use a 3 race scratch back to get back any
losses.
