Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Only the one meeting at Southwell today.
Gary a
reader has started sending me some new Greyhound selections which appear to be

I
mentioned yesterday that I was playing around with under £2.00 betting on
GHB and betting on all runners on in the race and still making a profit which I
was quite surprised about.
Well yesterday it also dawned on me what I
was doing wrong (or right). I had my odds range set from 1.00 to 100 so in fact
I wasn't betting on every runner. Interestingly yesterday for the first time I
finished down, but not by that much.
I have also been playing with
another new feature we have been testing in the beta version of GHB. This new
Auto feature takes into account the weight of money on each runner. Although
the odds are based on this as well it is interesting to look at the least
backed runners especially on Greyhounds.
Although I haven't managed to
test it much the last couple of days I was having reasonable results when
backing the least two backed dogs.
I am certainly going to have a look
at this later.
Adrian had another 3 winners (back Bets) out of 6
yesterday. I am not sure how he does it, but it is great to watch!

I
know a lot of people are following his lays and I am to, but I must admit I
love his back bets. I know I am a little naughty but I am using a progressive
staking plan with them based on the odds I can get, which is ok up to about 6
or 7 losers then it does start to get a little expensive but I am using a very
small amount of my bank while I test.

Although
Adrian hasn't mentioned it in his emails, he will be giving these selections
away until sometime in February, until he starts his new service.
This
is the first full tips service he has had for quite a number of years so I am
pleased, that he asked me to help him launch on the web.
We will let
everyone know in plenty of time before he goes live but the people on his list
will get first choice. And I can tell you from the number of people that have
already joined the list, that I don't think we will have to go else where for
subscribers. Strangely for the number of years I have been doing this, I have
never had so many readers sign up for a sub list like Adrian's.
