Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
"Millionaires's Row" won again yesterday although
there wasn't a great deal of profit, Betfairs prices were a little better than
SP in the morning.
There are 4 meetings today 2 Jumps from
Kempton and
Sedgefield
and 2 AW from Southwell and
Wolverhampton.
Yesterday we started looking at a new place system
and these were the results from the selections.

Easily capable of coming in the the top
two.
15.40 Southwell, Bathwick Emma, EP 3.3 (3 places) 6th 25/1
Not
sure about this selection but I would of thought she was capable of a
place.

Not a bad start yesterday and I wouldn't mind
at all if we could get a consistent 1 out of 2 win rate.

The prices are a little lower than yesterday
but I am just testing some ideas at the moment that I feel may help so I just
want to watch and see what happens over the next few days.

7. Greyhound Selections- Lay System
started 07/11/2006.
After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are
from the original and tighter system.

I set the bot from 2 to 6.00 again and as you can see from the
screenshot I did very well but I stopped the bot two from the
end (coward) and I was quite pleased I did, although I suspect that shenore
would have been higher than 6.
I am having a new feature added to the bot
which basically stops the bot "X" number of races from the end if you are
showing a profit.
So as you can see from the
screenshot I have used a 2 race "scratch back" after the loss
so if I am in profit 2 races from the end I don't want to chance more staking
so the bot will automatically stop. Of course that is an extra feature on top
of the stop profit and loss already included with the bot. In truth I would
probably only go for a couple of points profit a day and then quit, although by
the results we have been getting with this system I could be tempted to go a
little further.
