Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Another nice winner for "Millionaires's Row"
yesterday. On betfair Mr Excel was around 11.00 in the morning but you could
have easily got 8.00 during the day a little more than the 5/1 at the bookies.
On the other hand we are still on a roller coaster ride with the
"Best Lay of the Day" with another loser yesterday. I can feel this
being hard work this month but I want to turn it around.
There are 4
meetings today 3 Jumps from
Hereford,
Market Rasen and
Wincanton and
1 AW from Wolverhampton.
The last couple of weeks we have been trying to find

Isn't it strange how you can sometimes
think something is doing well and then when you go to check the back on the
results it shows a different story.
Take the "Racing Post - win
selections" we have been trying for the last couple of months. I thought
with close to a 50% (sometimes anyway) strike rate it seemed to be doing ok but
yesterday I put together all the selections which you can see
here.

I
haven't added up the points yet but judging by the prices, I bet you had a
better chance at making money at level stakes if you lay, instead of backing
and with the low prices a lay staking system wouldn't be that dangerous.
What
really stood out for me is that you seem to get a couple of winners then a
couple of losers. The longest winning run was 2 where as the longest losing run
was 4, although I did have a holiday in between those selections so really our
longest consistent losing run is 3 which we are on at the moment.
I am
still adding the "Racing Post - win selections" to the
miracle system for information but I am a little disappointed
with the results considering the short prices. I think I will be laying these
in future!

8. Greyhound Selections- Lay System

After playing around with selections I have
decided that for the time being this is going to be a lay only test. I think I
have worked out a system that will give us quite good prices but I suspect
there will have to be a maximum lay price set. I am just not sure what that
will be but I am testing between 2.00 and 7.00. I will make every effort to
record betfair lay prices as well. The ones marked with an asterisks (*) are

After a full
winning day on Tuesday it was a bit of a mixed day yesterday and I was
certainly down at level stakes. I am wondering if I should bring the top end
down to 6.00. I would have missed two bets yesterday but one of those was a
loser. It is good to see that most of the selections are 6.00 or under
