Todays ramblings
Good Morning.
Just to recap on yesterday. I can confirm that from next week this email
will be sent out 3 days a week instead of 5 times as it has been. It will
probably be Monday, Wednesday and Friday although I may change this just so
it's a surprise for you, when it turns up!
I am sure this will allow for a more interesting email. There will be other
changes as well but I will let you know more about them next week.

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that David and I have been playing around
with a new system where we get 2 selections in a race (1 to back and 1 to lay)
but we have 4 a day. David came up with the idea of stopping as soon as you
make 50pts profits based on a 20/30 split.
That would be 20pts on the back and 30pts on the lay. If none of the backs win
but the 4 lays do, then you end up with 40pts profit (before commission).
The problem we are having with this idea is the lay prices can be quite high
but we normally get at least 1 or 2 a day that are not that bad. We have had
some good winners from the back side but have hit a bit of a dry spell at the
moment.
I have been working out away of staking to liability rather than a standard
stake. I haven't quite got it right but I am getting there I think but it needs
a little more work because I want to do a simple calculation on the odds based
on a % liability of my bank.
Will discuss this a little more tomorrow.

The idea is really to select "one a day" to
lay bet (http://www.laybetting.com/) on betfair or
betdaq, which should be the shortest price. David has set a maximum price limit
of 12/1 or 13 on betfair. The main rule (and one we have started to use across
a number of our systems) is that you should not bet if the reduction factor for
the race is 10% or more. Yesterday's.
